Message ticks and delivery status
Understand sent, delivered, read, failed, and pending message status in AI Inbox.
What statuses mean
- Pending: BOS is preparing or sending the message.
- Sent: provider accepted the message.
- Delivered: WhatsApp delivered it to the customer device where available.
- Read: customer opened it where read receipt is available.
- Failed: message was not delivered and needs checking.
When status is missing
Status depends on the provider callback and webhook. If webhook is not configured correctly, messages may send but ticks may not update.
