COD and prepaid UPI flow
Understand when to confirm COD and when to send UPI QR for prepaid customers.
COD flow
If the customer chooses COD, the order can be confirmed without sending UPI QR.
Prepaid flow
- Send UPI QR only when customer asks for prepaid, UPI, QR, GPay, PhonePe, or similar.
- Ask customer to share payment screenshot after payment.
- Keep payment-review status until staff verifies payment.
- Do not send shipping or invoice confirmation until payment rules are satisfied if your business requires approval.
Customer clarity
Do not tell the customer that the QR is generated by a payment gateway if BOS is actually sending an uploaded UPI QR image.
