Meta token or permission error

Fix expired token, wrong app context, missing permission, or webhook verification problem.

Common reasons

  1. Access token expired.
  2. Token belongs to wrong Meta app or business.
  3. Required permission is not approved or not available in current app mode.
  4. User role or business access is missing.
  5. Webhook verify token does not match.

Safe check

Re-test with the exact business, app, WABA, and phone number connected to BOS. Do not mix live and developer mode assets accidentally.
